The reading test is part of the evidence based reading and writing section.

Sat practice reading section. Prior topic specific knowledge is never tested. Taking a full length sat practice test is one of the best ways to simulate test day. The sat reading component consists of 52 multiple choice questions based on reading passages.

After reading each passage or pair choose the best answer to each question based on what is stated or implied in the passage or passages and in any accompanying graphics such as a table. It includes both official and unofficial sources. Finish with extra time and double check.

You are given 65 minutes to complete the section. Each passage or pair of passages below is followed by a number of questions. Some passages are paired with other passages. The other half comes from the writing and language test. The examples are split by difficulty level on the sat.
